Nokia unveils 3 new mobile phones
3GSM [Barcelona] - Nokia unveiled today at 3GSM World three new phone models the 6131, 6136 and 6070.
Nokia stated at the conference that they expect the Nokia 6131 camera cell phone to be one of the best-selling models in the mid-priced market segment. The Nokia 6131 will retail for around 275 euros, or about $325 before mobile carrier rebates are applied.
Nokia's unveiling of the 6136 model revealed that it is a camera phone that also has a technology allowing it to connect to a wireless network. The 6136 will also retail for around $325.
The Nokia 6070 is the most basic phone of the bunch and will retail for less than 150 euros, or $175.
The Nokia 6131, 6136, and 6070 are all expected to start shipping 2Q, 2006. No word yet on which U.S based telecom carriers will be picking up any these units.
